Some popular destinations

In Batangas, you can have fun at the beaches of Matabungkay or Nasugbu. These popular tourist areas encourage snorkeling, but are often very crowded. A more secluded spot of the coast is the Bonito Resort on Culebra Island. Here is a wonderful marine sanctuary where you can enjoy diving as well. If you travel in the Sosksargen area, a popular beach to enjoy is London Beach, but there are also many other choices as well. You might want to travel to the unique beaches of the Camiguin Island. Here you can visit some of the black beaches, created by all the former volcano activity in the area.

Banton Islands

Banton Islands also have many beautiful beaches where swimming is wonderful most of the year, even during Typhoon season. The calm beaches are Togbongan, Nabalay, Sibay, Libtong, and Nasunogan. All the beaches are kept clean and many have facilities for tourists in tidy, traditionally constructed huts. Another popular beach in the area is Recodo Beach, with its white sand and beautiful cove. The sunbathers delight is the Macat-ang and Mainit Beaches. There are also natural hot springs and a perfect sunset due to its facing out to the west.

Caramoan Islands

Caramoan Islands also have many majestic beaches. Gota beach is filled with white sand, but has many limestone rock formations. Lantangan beach is unique with piles of smooth-edged stones. There are many other beautiful beaches available to visit, some of which can only be visited by boat.
